Got wild questions?

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions.

Wild foods means no paddocks, no feedlots, no managed herds. Bush Beef cattle do their thing, grazing on native grasses with no human intervention until the muster season rolls around in the Dry.

Free-range and grass-fed beef are managed stock meaning farmers monitor and alter their environment and raise them to specifically meet these classifications.
Bush Beef cattle are wild-harvested on Normanby Station using low-stress methods, with the Balnggarrawarra Traditional Owners directing the operation.

Kaiar are hand-selected by Torres Strait divers using methods that protect the reef and the fishery. GoodFish has awarded Kaiar a green-star rating.
We oversee the whole chain from wild harvest by First Nations producers, through to local processing, into our Brisbane distribution hub, and onto you. Digital traceability tools give us guaranteed provenance and full transparency on every cut and every catch.
Our fresh products, like Wild Beef and Kaiar, have nothing added. What you cook is exactly as nature produced it. Our value-added products carry extra ingredients, all listed on the label, and we avoid the nasties wherever we can, like unnecessary colours and preservatives.
Yes, we freeze our products to ensure they reach you at a safe temperature and can be used in your meals safely.
